161Mp

A Regency Renovation

161Mp is an early nineteenth-century Regency terraced house on the seafront in Brighton. In the nineteenth century it was used as a lodging-house, and for parts of the twentieth century it was divided into flats. Derek Sherborn, historic buildings inspector, lived there from 1983 to 2004, and from 2010 was in multiple residential use by a religious foundation.

It is listed grade II and is within the East Cliff conservation area.
